Busy busy busy!

Hey guys,

I want to apologize for being such a bad blogger, but I've just been so insanely busy! But I do not want to make excuses, so later today I will at least show you guys what I have intermittently been working on (when I have had the time that is). Even if that meant waking up at 12:30 with an idea and starting to create it. When it hits you, you have to find the time to channel that creativity.

Believe me, if I could sew all day long and post my pictures up here I would love it! Unfortunately, life is expensive and a girls gotta work.

Love always,
Me

Dresses

I guess dresses are my thing to do right now, they are fun and easy without a pattern. I'm not the proudest of this one, but that is okay. It was still fun to do! I want to practice with geometric shapes and I did a drawing of one I am going to try to make next. I guess I am making a tribute to one of my favorite artists Picasso.

Love always,
Me

They say I'm an old soul...

So, I know this fabric is a little dated, but is it weird that I love it? This is the first dress I have ever made and I think I am going to wear it for Halloween. I am going to be Mod and I know it wont be the last time I will wear it.

I also got an amazing coat today and I really want to show you guys even though I did not make it myself. I will think about it ;)

(UPDATE: I put the coat on my other blog, All the Pretty Things, so that I can keep this one true to what it started out with. Plus it is appropriate on that page.)

Love always,
Me

Welcome!

Welcome to my new FASHION blog! I am so excited to get this started and to share all the fun I have been having with everyone.

I just want to say thank you to every garage sale, thrift shop, and old woman who has inspired me to create art at a low cost.

I have always designed clothes, since I was a little girl. But it is not something I told many people about. I had always had very stylish girlfriends and known many people who wanted to be fashion designers, and although I can be artist, I did not feel up to par. Well, I have decided to let go of my pride and just do what I love. If spending 6 hours in front of a sewing machine is fun for me, then who cares if someone can produce something better than me. This is what I love and I want to show the world!

I will be taking pictures tomorrow on my new mannequin *eeek*! All I have right now are rough sketches and I do not want to scare anyone off without showing the real thing.

So I guess what I am trying to say is...stay tuned ♥

Love always,
Me
